Early on, Mrs. Frear had the dream of being an educator. She was encouraged and influenced by the educators in her family and countless other inspiring teachers along the way. Mrs. Frear attended Martin Luther College and graduated in 2004 with a degree in Elementary Education. She and her husband moved to Phoenix, where she began her career teaching in public school.
Over the next 18 years, Mrs. Frear filled various roles in education, including elementary school teacher, reading interventionist, and instructional coach. During this period, she earned a Master’s Degree and Reading Specialist Certificate, which helped her serve the diverse population of the schools where she taught.
In 2022, Mrs. Frear received a call to teach at Grace Lutheran and was thrilled to join the faculty and staff, especially since it meant the ability to share God’s Word and sing His praises with children every day! A favorite Bible passage of Mrs. Frear is Psalm 100:1-2 – “Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness!”
