Weekly worship is held at 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM.  The services are identical, so you may attend either one.  You can also watch our services live or on-demand on our YouTube channel.

Our church services last about one hour. At both services, we confess our sins, hear the Word of God, pray, and sing. We receive Holy Communion on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month. We practice Member Communion at Grace and ask guests to speak with a pastor if they would like to learn more before joining in this Sacrament with us. This is not a judgment on the faith of our guests but is done to honor our God’s stated desire for his people to be united in teaching and confession before expressing this unity together in Holy Communion.

We seek to make those visiting comfortable and will never ask you to wear a visitor badge or stand to be recognized. Our greeters, ushers, and regular worshippers will greet you as you enter and leave the church, but it is up to you whether you want to engage in an extended conversation with us. We do not ask visitors to give money when we pass the offering plate. This is something our members do to show their love for their Savior and support the work of sharing God’s Word. We would like you to fill out the friendship register, along with our regular attendees, when it is passed down the pew. Yes! We don’t want to pressure you to join our church. It is more important that you trust in Jesus for forgiveness and salvation. You should first listen and evaluate whether our church teaches God’s word and that you are in agreement with those teachings. Then, when you are ready, we can discuss how you can become a part of our church family.

Wear whatever is most comfortable. Some of our members are accustomed to wearing their “Sunday best” and show up in suits and dresses. Others wear t-shirts and jeans. Most are in-between – a polo and khakis or a sweater and dress slacks. Everyone is welcome at Grace no matter how you are dressed.

The pastors wear white robes, a long-standing practice in the history of the Christian Church, and they do this for a couple of reasons. First of all, it allows worshipers to focus not on the pastors’ clothes but on the Word of God they are proclaiming. Secondly, the white robes act as a reminder that believers have been washed clean by the sacrifice of Jesus (Revelation 7:14). Pastors at Grace also wear something called a “stole” around their necks that symbolizes a yoke, reminding them and their hearers that ministers are servants of Jesus and are guided by God’s Word.

It is a blessing to have your children worship with us. During our Sunday Adult Bible Class (9:30-10:15 AM ever Sunday), children age 3 through 8th grade can attend Sunday School while the adults and teens are in Bible Study.

A Parents Room is located at the back of the Sanctuary. For your convenience, audio from the service is available in the room and windows allow you to continue to view the service while in the Parents Room.

We are located at 5600 W Palmaire Ave in Glendale Arizona. This is just north of Glendale Ave in historic Downtown Glendale. View a map or our location on our Contact Us page.

We have a large church-owned parking lot on the north side of the church, just off Myrtle Ave. We have reserved guest spaces available there. Or you may park in the large public lot across the street to the south. On-street parking is also available on Palmaire Ave. right outside the church.

We have a membership of just over 600 souls. Depending on the service and time of year, you can expect 150-200 people at an average worship service. The church itself comfortably seats at least 400, with additional seating available for special services like Christmas and Easter. There will always be room for you and your family to join us.
