Rev. Jasper Sellnow
Bachelor of Liberal Arts, 2008 – Martin Luther College
Master of Divinity, 2012 – Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary
Serving at Grace since 2024
Pastor Sellnow was born in Watertown, Wisconsin, and grew up in nearby Madison where he grew in faith at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and School. He received encouragement to consider the public ministry from teachers and family members throughout his years in school. Pastor Sellnow also met his wife, Sarah, while in school and they have five children.
Pastor Sellnow began his ministry serving in a very large congregation and school ministry at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Appleton, Wisconsin (2012-2018). He then served as a mission pastor to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church helping to establish and build up a second ministry site in Adams and Friendship, Wisconsin (2018-2024).
Pastor Sellnow enjoys spending time with his family, going on day trips with them, hiking, playing chess, reading, watching movies, and painting.
He continues to be amazed that God would use a sinner like him to share the peace we have with God through Christ’s forgiveness.
Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
